About
Valuation Engineer Research Labs publishes short papers between issues of the Valuation Engineer Journal: working notes, neighborhood studies, and the Prolog, R and Python code behind them. Its sections follow the Journal’s departments.
These are working papers. They are not peer reviewed, they may be revised or withdrawn, and the ideas they try out may later appear in a fuller form in the Journal, which is the version of record. Each paper shows the date it was published and the date of any revision.
Code. Results in a paper are computed when the paper is published. Where a paper offers downloads, the files are the code that produced them, for readers to run on their own machines. Some papers have live examples that run in your browser: R through webR, Python through Pyodide, and Prolog through Trealla, the Journal’s reference Prolog, compiled to WebAssembly. Nothing you type there leaves your browser.
