Cities

Oakland

Oakland’s sub-markets are its MLS areas, which are its ZIP codes, drawn on the map from the 400 m grid cells inside the city limit. 94607 includes downtown (94612) and 94618 includes Claremont (94705).

Unincorporated markets

Each is drawn on the map as its Census place plus the 400 m grid cells that hold at least 3 of its sales.

Not analysed: Sunol and Emeryville, which have too few sales of detached houses for a model, and Oakland 94607 (West Oakland with downtown), whose log model did not hold up on held-out sales. This first edition leaves the bay view out; the towns where the view helps will be updated with it.
