Market area models for Contra Costa County, one set per property class, fitted on each town’s sales. Each class has its own models: single-family detached houses are not mixed with attached houses, condominiums, multi-family or mobile homes.

Unincorporated markets

Each is drawn on the map as its Census place plus the 400 m grid cells that hold at least 3 of its sales.

Not analysed: Diablo and Discovery Bay, whose log models did not hold up on held-out sales. Crockett, Bethel Island and Pacheco have fewer than 250 fitting sales; their best model is the elastic net on the features alone. This first edition leaves the bay view out; the towns where the view helps will be updated with it.
